SCIENTIFIC ADVISOR
Dr. John Sinden received his PhD in Neuroscience from Pierre et Marie Curie University, Paris, under supervision of Jacques LeMagnen, College de France, Paris, followed by post-doctoral training at the University of Oxford in the Institute of Psychiatry, London, with Jeffrey Gray.
His academic appointments include Reader in Neurobiology, Kings College London (KCL), and Honorary Professor in Pharmacology at University College London (UCL).
Dr. Sinden founded ReNeuron, and served as CSO for 20 years, leading development of neural and retinal stem cell lines and took them to clinical trials in US. He co-founded Glialign at UCL, a startup developing a stem cell and material construct as a replacement for surgical peripheral nerve autografts. He is co-founder of Quest Meat Birmingham UK, that is developing novel reagents to service the developing cultivated meat sector.
